A few months ago, I was in exactly the same position as you - able to tap at a keyboard but scared to take my dream any further. To be perfectly honest, I lacked confidence. I needed a guiding hand. I definitely needed a push!

I have worked from home for ten years, and could not imagine working regular hours from an office again. All I need is a laptop, Broadband and mobile phone....
I have a passion for saving money. This was forced upon me by necessity and circumstances.
Having saved and counted the pennies for several years – and learned what a valuable trick this was – I decided to pass this knowledge on to others via a work from home employment situation. I needed to create my own web site.
The question was how?
If I am honest, a few months ago I was a complete dumbo as far as the Internet was concerned.
Yes, I had made one unsuccessful stab at setting up a web site, but the Host Company that I chose was not offering the help and support I really needed. I was making no progress, was not getting traffic to my site and more importantly felt totally stuck and depressed because my work from home employment project had grounded. I needed to get things to work.
How times have changed. Even now, I am by no means now an IT expert but I certainly know a lot more than I knew 6 months ago, and enough to construct a good looking web site. I know I shall make further progress.
I have plodded on, making mistakes - and being corrected, pointed in the right direction, in fact guided every step of the way.
Me - a genius? Never.
The only thing I did right was to choose a good web host, followed their instructions and did as I was told - this last bit was the difficult part. Finally I produced a tolerably good web site - this one.
I know I will go on and improve - there's confidence for you!
The best way to understand this last remark is to sit down, relax and watch the SBI video tour and all will be revealed. It is well worth watching and listening to. The video tells it much better than I could ever explain - one picture is worth a thousand words.
If you have some knowledge to pass on, if you have an absorbing hobby or interest, why not share it with others. Two things are likely to happen - you will enjoy yourself and you will make money. You may well make loads of new friends as well.
