I had always kept to a good, natural diet, walked at least four times per week and had a good slim figure in return. Then I started to pile on the pounds - 6 - to be exact.
To say I was horrified was mild. I needed to find the culprit. After some quick research around the Internet (thank you Google) I found where the trouble was. I had become addicted to dates and I now know each dates contains the equivalent of 4.5 teaspoons of sugar. I had been eating almost half a box a day. Secondly bananas - I had at least one per day. Apparently two bananas are the equivalent of a heavy meal.
In addition I 'treated' myself to one square of dark chocolate after lunch and dinner and used honey as a 'sweetener' for my tea.
All four items have now been banished. This is my first day on the new regime and it remains to be seen whether I experience any cravings. If I do, I shall take a look sideways at my figure, which should keep me on track.
Everything in moderation seems to be the buzz words.
I will report progress. Knowing that this 'promise' is hanging over my head will be a great help.
