Bargain caravaning near the lovely sea coast of WEST Pembrokeshire

Being both a country and seaside lover the choices are enormous. But finding somewhere cheap for longer than a week at peak season is always a challenge.
So I start early in the year and really research cost effective yet beautiful places to stay.
Wales is a good choice as the cost of living is generally cheaper there than the south east and I always trawl the net for the cheapest possible holiday that would also bring other benefits like warm hospitalit and good food. Also lots of freedom and flexibility; be private, easy going, tranquil and above all-cost effective in these hard times and what's more- still close enough to both the coast and countryside.
Hotels are OK for the those of us with a bottomless purse, but if you have a whole fortnight spare for a family to cater for - or even as just a couple- you'd rather do your own thing and not be crowded out by others in peak season. As you're on a budget ideally search weeks in advance for the best deals from small uncommercialised land owners with budget conscious accomodation.
This could include places like hostels for the young or a caravan site for a chalet or bungalow but I never find these very appealing either in price or the commercialised over hyped noise. Even the YMCA can be expensive but you can get the prices down even further by booking direct with small agricultural private companies like farmers, and look to book up a single caravan like I did on a dairy farm.
We are enjoying fresh organic milk every day at a fraction of the price, here in the little sleepy village of Penycwm...in the heart of farming country on the west coast of Pembrokeshire SW wales!
Penycwm is just 2 miles down the road from Newgale a popular but not over crowded wide expansive picturesque fab surfing beach. Pembrokeshire itself has a wealth of culture castles art, cathedrals history shops, inns and pubs, farms not to mention over 120 beaches! just waiting to explore- it's also cheaper than the S.E.of England if you are limited to the UK and the scenery and peace and cleanliness is second to none.
In a single caravan in Wales on a dairy farm you are miles from civilasation yet also close enough just down the road with all the shops and cafes fishiong ports coast lines and attractions you could wish for. That way you can enjoy fantastic views and privacy as usually there is just one sole caravan to enjoy on a Dairy farm.
