Christmas is trying to sneak up on us, so before you spend way too much money, take a look at the following information.

One canny reader uses his Tesco Club points to buy Christmas presents. He also uses his Air Miles card to buy shopping which then gives him Amazon vouchers. He reckons he is averaging £120 worth of Amazon vouchers and in excess of £250 worth of Tesco vouchers. Nice work if you can get it!

The Tesco price drop seemed to disappeared almost as quickly as it appeared. All is not lost! As you walk around the store look out for the yellow labels on the shelf front - they have now appeared again. These are easy to spot and real bargains can be found here. Look out for end of line clearances.

Just when we thought it was a good way to make and save money, the Government halved the tariff that will be paid to people who install solar panels on their roof. See Solar Panel Grant Tips It might still possible to turn this scheme to your advantage, so have a word with a reputable supplier.
