2 pedigrees, 2 rescues and a stray!

by Anonymous
(East Anglia)

We have had them all in our time!

First dog was a gentle labrador who was the perfect dog for a young family with children.

Next came Scruffy, a little terrier who wandered in one day and stayed for 16 years. A typical terrier, sparky and feisty and a great character, loved by all.

Our first rescue dog was a 6 month old border collie bitch, with some issues which needed resolving. This led us to seek professional help and proper dog training for the first time ever!

Since then we have added a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, and a Springer Spaniel of uncertain age who has had a varied and chequered past.

It's a constant learning curve and we've made lots of great friends through having our dogs, not to mention learning to show, do obedience, and agility!

The best advice I can pass on is listen to your dogs, watch and learn, and seek good professional help if you have problems, it will be money well spent.
